March/April 2010 - Fashion pieces and News story, Metro
I spent 2 weeks work experience at Metro 19th March - 2nd April, followed by a consequent 2 paid weeks. I was then offered a casual 3 months as Editorial Assistant.
On 2nd August I started a 6 month contract as Picture Desk Assistant. During my work experience at Metro I had these pieces published.

January 2010 - HELLO! magazine
Between 25-29th January I spent a week at HELLO! in the Commercial department. It consists of only about 15 people as HELLO! is a small family owned business. I created a press release database, gathered names and emails for editors of each section, supplement and Sunday version of each paper, created a moodboard package for a client, built up adverts for the following month's issue, and helped with other data and admin tasks.

October 2009 - Fashion Editor for ATTN:
I'm fashion editor for an online magazine my friends made. This is my first post. Read the real thing. Here's another. Please bear in mind if you read the About ATTN: manifesto you will see this is for a more specific audience. I enjoy writing for a variety of readerships.
April 2008 - Assistant Producer
I was Assistant Producer on an educational community project called Challenge Thornhill in the deprived area of Thornhill, Southampton, with marketing company Quayfront Communications.
I worked with primary school children in 3 schools and a drama group of adults recovering from drug abuse called Vita Nova, filming and interviewing them. I can provide excellent references.

December 2008 - ITV Meridian
Stills from a lunchtime bulletin I presented during work experience. While there I did a lot of ped-ops and gallery work too as well as shadowing journalists in the newsroom.
